Ashley Macuga brings a distinctly layered point of view to her work—shaped by her upbringing in New Orleans, where architecture, art, and atmosphere are inseparable. Her process begins and ends with story. She is committed to unearthing the rituals, histories, and playful details that define a family, then translating them into spaces that feel collected, comforting, and unexpectedly soulful. Ashley is especially drawn to the redemptive work of creating a new narrative for overlooked homes, reimagining once-loved interiors with a reverence for both their inherent character and untapped potential.
As a mother of four, Ashley approaches design through the lens of authentic living—where beauty must also be useful, durability is the highest form of luxury, and the evolution is as meaningful as the end result. Her work is grounded in thoughtfully chosen materials, enduring craftsmanship, and selections chosen for how they serve the present and how they will patina with time.
