Durlston Farm

Redwood City, California

This farmhouse for a family of seven is designed to feel baked in tradition - the kind your grandma would enjoy.

The charmed details we adore: Charcoal herringbone limestone meets cream millwork in the entry, a fourteen-foot-long wood table anchors the dining room, and a vintage piano waits quietly for the next gathering. All of the kitchen layers: handmade tile on the backsplash complimented by a mix of Cristallo and Taj Mahal stone as countertops, an unlacquered brass bridge faucet, and a hood trimmed in hand-carved wood reclaimed from a farmhouse.
