Eaton Oaks
San Carlos, California
A house most would have walked past — a sea of brown cabinets untouched since the day it was built — bought by owners who could see what it might become. Walls came down, windows went in, and a neutral palette took shape supported with layers of texture.
Our enduring obsessions: a handmade vertical tile backsplash - subtle, yet sophisticated. A wood-slatted primary vanity, and sculptural, natural kitchen pendants. Unlacquered brass lends quiet age to the modern bones, while a warm blue vanity in the girls' bath strikes the perfect note between youthful and refined.
