We reimagined a 1950s California bungalow as a 3,300-square-foot family home by adding a second-story addition to transform it into a 3,300-square-foot family home that is expanded in scale, yet grounded in the same spirit.

What we are obsessing over: Pecky cypress ceilings that bring warmth and texture throughout, a sculptural marble hood that anchors the kitchen, Alabaster lighting, aged brass, and a palette of soft neutrals that create a sense of quiet richness. Each material selected to both patina beautifully over time and stand up to the demands of our clients' busy family.
